Learn about mob loyalty in Mafia: Definitive Edition’s second story trailer

Hangar 13 and 2K debuted a brand-new trailer for Mafia: Definitive Edition at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. The second “narrative trailer” for Mafia: Definitive Edition is titled “A Life of Reward Too Big to Ignore,” focuses on loyalty and the costs that come with joining ‘the Family.’

The trailer features a scene from early in the game with Dan Salieri explaining that loyalty is what he wants most from his soldiers. The voiceover continues as we’re shown Tommy, Paulie and Sam getting up to all manner of violence and crime.

As I mentioned in my preview, the mafia lifestyle is often glamourised and Mafia does this to some extent. However, even in this new trailer, we see how 2K and Hangar 13’s game attempts to show players the ugly side of that life.
