Card Shark from Reigns dev Nerial teaches you how to cheat at cards

Reigns developer Nerial, has once again teamed up with Devolver Digital and this time it’s for Card Shark. Coming to Switch and PC in 2021, Card Shark is “a tale of deception throughout 18th Century Europe…”

Featuring a wonderful, watercolour art style and an excellent bizarre premise for a video game, Card Shark already looks promising. Players will need to learn real card tricks in order to fleece and cheat their way through 18th century French Society.

Players will need to make sure they’re not caught though. Card Shark’s tagline is “Cheat or Die.”

Check out the trailer below for some of the game in action, though it’s still a little tricky to fully understand what’s going on.

However, Reigns is a great little game and with Nerial and Devolver behind Card Shark, it’s likely to be something special.

Card Shark heads to PC and Switch in 2021.
