Watch us play 11-minutes of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Thanks to Activision, we recently had early access to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 demo. Adam ‘GrizGaming’ Mathew stepped onto the grip tape and shredded up the Warehouse; which is all that’s on offer in the demo.

In this demo you also only have access to Tony Hawk and the Sessions Mode, which gives you 2-minute runs to tackle. Sadly, the demo doesn’t include collecting SKATE or the Video Tape or reaching 5K or 15K scores.

Instead, all you can do is play for 2-minutes and try for the highest possible score.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Being Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, the demo includes manuals (introduced in THPS 2) and reverts (introduced in THPS 3). This allows players to create some truly outrageous and lenghty combos and if you manage to keep the combo going after time runs out, you go into Overtime.

However, in this version of the game, Activision has included ‘No Bails’ and ‘Perfect Balance.’ These options function as advertised and make it so you can’t bail and can manual and grind without needing to balance. Worse still, at this stage, there’s no way to tell if these “cheats” have been activated.

Those who’ve pre-ordered Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will gain access to the demo this week.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 4.
