PlayStation Plus Free Games for June 2020 announced

Sony has announced the free games you can download in June 2020 as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription. Both are first-person shooters though they take place in very different parts of the universe and at two distinctly different times. One comes from Sledgehammer Games and Activision and the other from DICE and EA.

First up in Call of Duty: WWII. We reviewed Call of Duty: WWII at release and enjoyed the return to its roots and the Zombies mode starring the best Doctor Who, David Tennant.

Next up is Battlefront II. On release it was lambasted for its loot box mechanics, excessive grinding and unfair preying on players. Over time though, it’s become a fully featured, fleshed out and updated game.

PlayStation Plus June 2020

Call of Duty: WWII and Battlefront II offer two very different takes on the first-person shooter genre, both in single and multiplayer and will certainly give players plenty of hours of fun.

If you’ve not yet purchased either game, you can download them for free this month. Call of Duty is already free on the store and Battlefront will be free on June 2.

May’s free games, Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19, will no longer be free to download as of Monday, June 1. Make sure you download them before they disappear.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
