Disney+ is celebrating Star Wars Day — May the Fourth — by screening a host of Star Wars content. The finale of the final season of The Clone Wars will debut on May 4 in addition to the first episode of the eight-part documentary series; Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. Star Wars day began as a fan event but has since been embraced as a part of the cultural fabric of the fandom.
The final of The Clone Wars brings to a close seven seasons bridging the gap between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The Clone Wars has been critically acclaimed and is an Emmy-award winning chapter in the Star Wars saga.
Mega-fan Dave Milner reviewed the first two episodes of season seven for us and wrote;
If this season can mesh the animated and live-action timelines together, while expanding the lore by presenting unseen perspectives on familiar events, it’ll be a powerful, important part of the wider Star Wars canon.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Mandalorian. Executive Producer Jon Favreau speaks with the cast and crew about the series and how it became a sensation after it launched in 2019.
The first episode will debut on Disney+ on May 4, 2020 and each chapter will explore “a different facet of the first live-action Star Wars television show through interviews, never-before-seen footage, and roundtable conversations hosted by Jon Favreau.”
Favreau said;
Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together and some of the incredibly talented contributors throughout Season 1.
We had a great experience making the show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.
Across the eight episodes, fans will learn about the filmmaking process, Star Wars’ legacy, the technology used to create the show and more.
New episodes will be available to stream every Friday.
