Jurassic World 3’s title has been revealed by Director Colin Trevorrow in a tweet. Officially titled Jurassic World: Dominion, filming has begun on the third film in the new World series which is the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise. Jurassic World: Dominion will feature original Jurassic Park cast members Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and BD Wong.

Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also return as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing respectively.

Jurassic World: Dominion

Very little about the plot of Jurassic World 3 has been revealed so far, though we can infer from the title that dinosaurs have “dominion” over the earth.

In a recent appearance on Ellen, Pratt said;

This feels like (the end). It’s got everybody. It’s got pretty much everybody in it, maybe I just blew it but I don’t care. I know that like all the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back and so it’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together at Marvel.

In an interview with Empire, Trevorrow said;

We’d have had to come up with a reason why Ellie, Malcolm and Grant all went to the theme park on the exact same day it broke down — again. The next film allows the legacy characters to be a part of the story in an organic way. Emily Carmichael [writer] and I call it ‘Jurassic Park VI’, because it is

Jurassic World: Dominion will be in cinemas on June 11, 2021.
