Terminators are time-travelling to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

Ubisoft and Studiocanal are teaming up to bring The Terminator to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. In a collaboration that I didn’t know I wanted or needed — until I watched the trailer — Terminators have travelled back in time to Auroa. A Resistance fighter named Rasa Aldwin has also travelled from the future to help the Ghosts stop the Terminators’ plans.

While Breakpoint received a lukewarm reception from fans and critics, I really enjoyed it. By combining one of the best sci-fi movies of all time with the world of Breakpoint, Ubisoft has crafted a pretty great reason to load the game up again.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’s The Terminator live event includes a two-part mission taking part from January 29 and February 1 respectively. Once both missions are live, they will remain available until the live event ends on February 6.

Players who complete the missions will receive free in-game items inspired by 1984’s The Terminator. Items include;

  • Punk Outfit
  • Terminator facepaint
  • Uzi
  • Vehicles
  • Kyle Reese customisation pack
  • Terminator customisation pack

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint The Terminator Live Event is part of Episode One and comes after the launch of the franchise’s first-ever raid and a series of updates designed to improve the overall experience. More updates are scheduled for this year in addition to more content.

The Ghost Recon: Breakpoint The Terminator Live Event is on now with the first in-game mission available for all players. The event will end on February 6.

Breakpoint is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
