Disney has announced it will release the feature film Stargirl on Disney+ on March 13, 2020. Stargirl is different from the other students at Mica High School.

Stargirl is a film designed to celebrate the individual. It’s about being kind to one another and about the power of human emotion. Directed by Julia Hart and written by Kristin Hahn and Julia Hart & Jordan Horowitz, Stargirl features VanderWall in her film debut.
