Now that you have Borderlands 3 in your hot little hands, you’ll be shooting and looting to your heart’s content. Something else you’ll be doing a lot of is customising. You’ll be choosing skins and heads and all sorts of good stuff to make your Vault Hunter as unique as possible. You’ll also need to choose which of the four hunters you choose.
If you’re playing on PS4 Pro, you’ll have the option of whether you want Borderlands 3 to focus on displaying at a hi-resolution or framerate.
Having been playing Borderlands 3 for about 12-hours at this point, I only recently discovered this option and I wish I’d known about it sooner. Setting the options to focus on a high framerate makes for a far, far better experience.
Borderlands 3 Framerate PS4
To access the visual settings, press the Options button and select Options, then Visuals. The first setting in this menu is for Graphics Performance. It is set to resolution by default and while the game still looks good with this option, changing it to focus on framerate is the way to go.
While the difference isn’t really clear in the video below, trust me, it makes a lot of difference. After seeing Borderlands 3 running at 60 frames per second on PS4, there’s no way I’d go back to 30 fps.
Borderlands 3 is available now.
