Playtonic and Team17 have released a new trailer for the 2D sidescroller focusing on the Tonics in the game and what effects they have on the gameplay. Tonics make a return from Yooka-Laylee and there are over 60 to collect.

While Tonics in Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair affect gameplay, they can also be mixed and matched to create environmental and visual changes.

Bringing Tonics back in all-new flavours (they’re now combinable!) will give the community millions of ways to play the game and we can’t wait to see the results online!
