Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is coming next month

Saber Interactive, developer of World War Z and NBA 2K Playgrounds, has announced that Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will launch on consoles and PC in October. First released in 2009, the Ggame was faithful to the source material and even included voice acting from the original cast.

Originally developed by Terminal Reality and released on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PSP, it was fairly well-received and become something of a cult classic.

With a new entry in the film franchise planned for next year — Ghostbusters 2020 — it’s the perfect time to get people playing the Ghostbusters game again.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game

In the game, players are cast as a new, rookie member of the team;

Manhattan is overrun once more by ghosts, demons and other paranormal creatures unleashed by a mysterious force and only the Ghostbusters can drive this evil back to whatever dimension it crawled from to save the Big Apple. Hunt and trap a variety of new and infamous ghouls and phantasms, all remastered in HD resolution

This year marks the 35th anniversary of Ghostbusters and a great way to celebrate is by playing the game which serves almost as the third story in the franchise.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game will be coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One on October 4, 2019.
