Rainbow Six Siege is getting a Battle Pass starting with Operation Ember Rise

In addition to going hands-on with Operation Ember Rise and the two new operators — Goyo and Amaru — during my visit to Ubisoft, I was given details of the new Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass. Like other Battle Passes, theRainbow Six Siege Battle Pass will feature a free and premium track, however, in order to introduce the Battle Pass to Siege players, Ubisoft is first doing a soft launch.

When Operation Ember Rise launches, a special, free Battle Pass will be released for all Siege players. This Battle Pass will be titled ‘Call Me Harry’ and will run for seven days only.

It will have seven tiers and by playing and earning Battle Points, players will be able to level up and earn a special Chibi Harry charm.

When Season 4 of Siege launches later in 2019, Phase 2 of the Battle Pass will go live. This will see a fully-fledged Battle Pass added to Siege with both a free and a premium track available.

Ubisoft is also taking the interesting step of using the Battle Pass as a way to deliver narrative context to players. It’s not yet clear exactly how Ubisoft will use the Battle Pass to provide more information on the world of Rainbow Six Siege but stay tuned.

The mini Battle Pass, ‘Call Me Harry’ kicks off with Operation Ember Rise. Rainbow Six Siege is available now.
