Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2
In developing the new Xbox Elite controller, Microsoft wanted to make it the most advanced controller ever. The Xbox Elite Series 2 is compatible with both Windows and Xbox One and any other platform that supports Xbox family controllers.
One of the major new features of the Version 2 Controller is the adjustable tension thumbsticks. Players can choose from three resistance setting of which, players are able to match the resistance of Xbox 360 and Xbox One controllers.
The new controller also comes with hair-trigger settings that make the pull distance for the trigger buttons shorter. This means faster firing. Additionally, the controller automatically recognises when changes have been made to the hair-trigger locks. This means players won’t need to head to the Xbox Accessories app to make changes every time.
New thumbsticks and paddles are also included with the Elite Series 2 to allow players to truly make the controller their own. The Elite Series 2 can also store three profiles which are instantly interchangeable.
Probably the biggest and best news about the Elite Series 2 is that it includes a rechargeable battery; a first for any Xbox One controller. Players will get around 40-hours battery life per charge and it comes with a USB-C cable and charging dock.
Included in the box is the controller, carry case, six thumbsticks, four paddles, two D-Pads, thumbstick adjuster, charging dock and braided USB-C cable.
Pre-orders are open now and the Elite Series 2 launches on November 4, 2019.
