Darksiders Genesis is bringing more ARPG Goodness to consoles in 2019

Despite being leaked by Amazon, THQ Nordic and Airship Syndicate pushed ahead with the E3 reveal of the next chapter in the Darksiders series; Darksiders Genesis. Moving away from the franchise’s action-adventure roots, Darksiders Genesis is an ARPG in the vein of Diablo. It also introduces fans to the fourth horseman; Strife.

Coming to Google Stadia, PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One, Darksiders Genesis will be available in 2019.

Darksiders Genesis

Joe Madureira, co-creator of Darksiders and CEO of Airship Syndicate said;

Darksiders Genesis kicks off a completely fresh direction for the Darksiders franchise, including a new gameplay style, the introduction of STRIFE – the fourth and final horseman – and so much more.

In this fourth game in the series, Strife is tasked with saving mankind from Lucifer. It’s the first game in the series to be played from a top-down perspective and is the first time a gunslinging Horseman has been featured.

Darksiders Genesis launches in 2019.
