Dead By Daylight from Behaviour Interactive is coming up to its third anniversary. To celebrate, it’s been announced that Dead By Daylight Switch Edition is launching in September.
Additionally, the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game will soon add Scream’s Ghost Face to the roster. Ghost Face is also live on the Public Test Build (PTB) for PC players to dive in and check out.
The Switch version will be playable for the first time at E3.
Dead By Daylight Switch
When Dead By Daylight Switch launches, players will have access to the main game, four additional chapters, nine killers and 10 survivors. It will also include three additional cosmetic packs.
Ghost Face isn’t the first Hollywood monster to appear in Dead By Daylight and joins Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Amanda Young and Leatherface. The remaining killers are original creations.
Several of the survivors are also from other material and include Laurie Strode, Bill from Left 4 Dead, Ash from Evil Dead and more.
Each survivor and killer has special abilities and perks which they can use to survive and win.
Ghost Face’s power is Night Shroud;
When the power gauge is full, Night Shroud can be activated, completely hiding his terror radius. When active, The Ghost Face can lean around corners and stalk Survivors. Stalking a Survivor for a short time will leave them exposed. Attacking or being detected by Survivors will deplete the power gauge and end Night Shroud.
Additionally, The Ghost Face may crouch at any time by pressing the active ability button. Crouching while Night Shroud is active will hide The Ghost Face’s red stain.
His three perks are ‘I’m All Ears,’ Thrilling Tremors’ and Furtive Chase.’ I’m All Ears means that “any Survivor performing a rushed action outside of your terror radius will have their aura revealed to you for a short duration.”
Thrilling Tremors prevent all generators not currently being repaired from being repaired once Ghost Face picks up a survivor. They’re highlighted in white.
Finally, Furtive Chase works as follows;
When your Obsession is hooked, the perk receives a token. Each token decreases your Terror Radius by several meters while in a chase. When a Survivor rescues the Obsession from a hook, the rescuer becomes the Obsession. You lose all your tokens if the Obsession is sacrificed or killed.
Dead By Daylight comes to Switch on September 24 and Ghost Face will launch for all consoles on June 18, 2019.
