Borderlands 3 is not a battle royale game

During its panel at PAX East today, Gearbox finally, officially announced Borderlands 3

Paul Sage, Creative Director and Randy Pitchford President and CEO took to the stage to greet fans and give them the first look at it. Visibly excited, Pitchford immediately quashed rumours that it was a battle royale game.

After Pitchford said it wasn’t a battle royale, there were cheers from the fans at the panel.

Borderlands 3

With the growth in popularity in battle royale, many Borderlands fans, and the gaming community in general, thought that perhaps Borderlands 3 would jump on board.
