Check out Left Alive’s Launch Trailer

Left Alive is coming from a team with the collective talent behind such titles as Metal Gear, Armored Core, Xenoblade Chronicles and Gundam is Left Alive. It’s set in the Front Mission universe and is now available on PC and PS4.

A stealth-survival shooter, Left Alive looks as though it shares DNA with Metal Gear especially and allows players to choose how they approach any given situation. They’re also able to pilot huge mechs and absolutely go to town.

According to Square Enix;

LEFT ALIVE tells a human story of survival from the perspective of three different protagonists during the devastating invasion set in war-torn Novo Slava in 2127. Players are challenged to survive by uncovering alternate routes, crafting useful traps and weapons, and even turning enemy weaponry against them in order to save civilians trapped on the battlefield and uncover the truth behind the game’s mysteries.

Left Alive Launch Trailer

As Left Alive is released today, Square Enix has released a launch trailer that gives a taste of what to expect.

Left Alive also plays out dynamically with players able to engage enemies stealthily or guns blazing. Either way, you’re able to set up traps for your enemies ahead of time by using the in-game crafting menu.

Being a survival game, you can also craft items to help you survive. Finally, the enormous mechs scattered through the city can be commandeered. If you steal one, you’ll enter mech combat, which looks insane.

Left Alive is available now on PC and PS4.
