Madcatz E.S. Pro+ Gaming Earbuds Want to Steal The Spotlight From Traditional Bulky Headsets

When you think about a gaming headset, your mind immediately thinks of giant ear cups, boom mic and loud design. Madcatz is looking to change that with the new E.S. Pro+ Gaming Earbuds.

The E.S. Pro+ eschews the bulk of traditional headsets for some snug, unobtrusive earbuds for on the go gaming.

“Gaming audio is the leading category in gaming accessories at present, driven largely by the success of Fortnite™ and other Battle Royale games.” says Selena Chang, Director of Sales and Operations for Mad Catz Global Limited . “and we believe the E.S. Pro+ Gaming Earbuds give gamers a refreshingly different way to enjoy premium chat and audio over sustained gaming sessions.

Madcatz E.S. Pro+ Gaming Earbuds

Gaming earbuds aren’t really a thing; primarily because of the need for a high quality microphone. Madcatz has solved this by designing the E.S. Pro+ with a detachable boom microphone that attaches to one of the earbuds for higher fidelity chat.

And when you don’t need that fidelity, an in-line microphone on the generous 1.5m long cable will suffice. Smartphone users will be able to make phone calls with this mic.

The E.S. Pro+ have 13.5mm drivers which are pretty tiny compared to the average 40mm drivers in bigger headsets. That said, these are earbuds which sit close to your ear drums so that should be plenty powerful.

The earbuds have some clips to sit snugly and prevent falling out when the cable is tugged. Madcatz includes two additional earbud tips allowing you to find the perfect fit for your unique ear shape.

The E.S. Pro+ Gaming Earbuds are available worldwide from participating retailers and come in either White or Black colors. More information can be found at madcatz.com
