Nacon reveals Revolution Unlimited Pro controller for PS4

The DualShock 4 controller for the PS4 is just fine for casual gaming but if you are a serious gamer, you need something much more capable.

The new Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro controller might just be what the doctor ordered.

NACON has proven itself to competent in crafting quite capable and worthy third-party controllers, so the Revolution Unlimited is likely to be a great addition.

Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro Controller for PS4

Ignoring the mouthful of cliché gaming product name, the Revolution Unlimited Pro looks like a phenomenal controller. Like its competitors from Razer and Scuf, the Nacon controller features a breadth of player customizations.

These include interchangeable thumbstick heads and shafts. You can choose between concave or convex heads or even thicker shafts for some reason I can’t quite grasp right now.

Players can also adjust the balance of the Revolution Unlimited Pro using weights that slot into chambers concealed in the controller’s grips. This is a leg up over competitors that don’t have this option.

There are also four programmable shortcut buttons, a full function touchpad, and the PlayStation share buttons. On the backside are manual controls for headsets as well as a Game mode and Platform(PS4/ PC) selection mode.

The Revolution Unlimited Pro controller is a wireless affair; connecting via a proprietary USB dongle that works on PS4 and PC but not Xbox. Included in the package is a USB-C cable that works for Play & Charge.

To carry all the little bits and bobs, the Revolution Unlimited also ships with a handy carry case to keep everything organized.

The Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro controller will be available in Australia and New Zealand in mid–April 2019 with an expected RRP of AUD $299.95. More information about Nacon products can be found at www.nacongaming.com
