Metro Exodus PC Requirements Revealed

4A Games has today revealed the Metro Exodus PC requirements. In addition to revealing the minimum requirements, 4A Games has also outlined the recommended, high and extreme PC specs for the game. 

Metro Exodus is built using the proprietary 4A Engine which is highly scalable and provides for “a great experience on entry-level hardware.” However, 4A Games states that;

enthusiasts will be able to stretch the latest video cards to the limit at 4K / 60FPS with Extreme settings

To run Metro Exodus players will need to have the correct version of Windows installed as follows;

*Windows 10 RS5 (Build 1809) or newer and DirectX 12 required for RTX features.  Win 8.1 requires build 9600 or newer, Win 8 requires build 9200 or newer, Win 7 requires SP1 or newer.

You can also check the Metro Exodus website for a performance guide to see how your PC stacks up. Those fortunate enough to have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU will have the benefit of ray-traced global illumination. Details on the GeForce RTX performance will be released sometime this week.

Metro Exodus will be available on February 15 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
