Data mining suggests a SMITE Switch Port is on the way

According to SMITE data mining site, smitedatamining.com, a SMITE Switch port may be on the way soon. 

In data mining of SMITE version 5.21, there a references to a Switch Founder’s Pack. In SMIT, players can purchase a founder’s pack which grants them access to all past, present and future playable characters.

It would make sense for Hi-Rez to release a SMITE Switch port as it has already released Paladins on Nintendo’s platform and it has certainly performed well.

In addition, adding SMITE to the Switch’s library would be a boon for console players, considering it would likely include cross-platform play.

Obviously, data mining is not confirmation of anything, however, as the website itself states;

Datamining is a way of obtaining early data on what Hi-Rez is working. Sometimes the data is not enough clear and our interpretation may be wrong or inaccurate. Due to this, please remember data may change or never reach final build, do not take datamining as real data but an estimation of what’s to come.

Skins and content is usually 100% accurate, but Gods and Gamemodes data is sometimes inaccurate.

The Switch Founder’s Pack includes;

  • Thor skin
  • Ymir skin
  • Zeus skin
  • Scylla skin
  • Neith skin 

Again, take all of this information with a grain of salt until it’s officially announced, but with SMITE available on PS4 and Xbox One, it’s likely it will be released on Switch sooner, rather than later.
