Razer doubles up with new mobile gaming accessories

Razer continues to make inroads to the mobile gaming scene with the launch of two new accessories for players on the go. The Razer Raiju Mobile controller and Razer Hammerhead USB-C Active Noice Cancelling headphones.

The Raiju Mobile controller is a mobile game-pad with a mount for your phone.  Touch controls on mobile games aren’t really that good. Especially when playing an FPS. However, Razer looks to be making that a thing of the past with the Mobile Controller.

Razer Raiju Mobile

Simply mount your phone in the dock and connect via Bluetooth to turn your phone into a full fledged mobile console.

The pad features the same Mecha-Tactile action buttons as Razers console controllers as well as the hair-trigger mode for faster firing. The phone mount is adjustable so you can get the best view angle.

Razer says the Raiju Mobile will last up to an incredible 23 hours on a single charge. That’s longer than the phone you will be using with it!

Key Features:

  • 4 multi-function buttons
  • Mecha-Tactile action buttons
  • Trigger stops for quick-firing action
  • Adjustable phone mount – up to 60-degree tilt
  • Mobile app for Android
  • Up to 23 hours of battery life on a single charge

Razer Raiju Mobile will be available worldwide in late Q4, 2018, and retail for an RRP of AUD $259.95/ NZ $279.95

Razer Hammerhead USB-C with Active Noise Cancellation

While the name may be a bit of a mouthful, these are some impressive gaming earbuds. Not only do these sound a lot better than your bundled EarPods, but they are also Active Noise Cancelling.

The earbuds will actively monitor the sound in your environment and cancel out ambient noise accordingly. No more loud commuters on the train disrupting your mobile nirvana.

ANC headphones require power to work and the Hammerhead uses a USB-C cable to draw power from your smartphone or device. This does mean iPhone users will need an extra dongle to use these.

Key Features:

  • Active noise cancelling in-ear headphones
  • In-line remote with volume controls, centre control and power switch.
  • Compatibility: phones with USB-C connectors

Razer Hammerhead USB-C ANC will be available October 22, 2018, for AUD $259.95 / NZ $279.95
