Dark Souls Remastered Switch Release Date announced

The Dark Souls Remastered Switch release date has finally been announced. Bandai Namco has taken to both Facebook and Twitter to announce that Dark Souls Remastered is finally coming to Switch in October.

Dark Souls Remastered launched for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in May, however, the Switch version was delayed. The reasons for the delay were not revealed.

Bandai Namco also cancelled the planned Network Stress Test for Dark Souls Remastered Switch. It has announced that the Network Test will go ahead before the launch.

Dark Souls Remastered Switch Release Date

Thanks to both the Facebook and Twitter posts, we can now reveal that the Dark Souls Remastered Switch release date will be October 19, 2018. 

Both Dark Souls Remastered and the Solaire of Astora amiibo will be available on that day.

Dark Souls Remastered is a re-release of the 2011 title with improves resolution, framerate and textures. The Switch version is highly anticipated due to the portability and the amiibo. 

Dark Souls Remastered will launch for Switch on October 19.
