Turok and Turok 2 releasing on Xbox One this month in Australia

Turok and Turok 2 have both been remastered and released for Xbox One, except in Australia. However, that’s all about to change very soon.

Back in March, both Turok and Turok 2 were released for Xbox One and Australians were upset about being left out. I put together a short guide on how to download the games in Australia, but thankfully, that’s about to become superfluous.

I wrote about Turok 2 being classified in Australia earlier this month and Turok was classified a few days later. Now, Nightdive Studios has confirmed with PowerUp! that both Turok and Turok 2 will be released in Australia on May 25.

Turok and Turok 2 have been lovingly remastered by Nightdive Studios and both games are available in full and come with added extras.

Turok 2 includes all the best multiplayer maps from both the N64 and PC versions and allows for online play, making it the ultimate Turok multiplayer experience.

Turok is back and no dinosaur is safe! When it was first released in 1997, Turok introduced gamers to a world teeming with cunning enemies, traps, puzzles and deadly weapons all within a vast 3D environment ready to explore.

Now the classic game has been restored and enhanced with a new visual engine and exciting new features to sink your teeth into!

Both Turok and Turok 2 will be available on Xbox One in Australia on May 25.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
