How to download Turok on Xbox One in Australia

Just last month Turok 2 was rated by PEGI for Xbox One. Understandably, fans were excited about an imminent release. However, Turok and Turok 2 on Xbox One have not yet been released in Australia. Luckily, we know how to download Turok on Xbox One in Australia.

While definitely not as simple as just heading to the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One, it’s simple enough that anyone can do it.

All you’ll need to do is follow our instructions below for how to download Turok on Xbox One in Australia. Even better is that you can use this same method to download any games from any other Microsoft Store in other regions.

Depending on the current exchange rate, you may even be able to snag a good deal.

How to download Turok on Xbox One in Australia

It’s actually really simple to purchase games from foreign stores on your Xbox One, even if you don’t have a credit card from that region.

The first thing you’ll need to do is push the guide button to open the blade and then go to the right until you can select settings.

In the Settings menu, scroll down to System. In the System sub-menu, you’ll need to select Language & Location. These are the settings we can change to enable us to use our Xbox One in a wide variety of language and also to tell our Xbox One which part of the world we’re in.

Once you’ve selected Language & Location, scroll down to Location and press the A button. This will open up a pop-up menu with a long list of countries and regions.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of this list and select the United States. After you’ve made your selection, scroll across to Restart Now and press A.

Your Xbox One will restart and will now display the United States Microsoft Store.

Now that you have access to the United States Microsoft Store, you should be able to search for Turok and actually find some results. Both Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil appear.

They cost $19.99 USD each and if you have a credit card from an American Bank with an American address, you’ll be able to use it to purchase them.

Simple.

But what about all the people in Australia who don’t have access to an American credit card? We’ve got them covered too.

How to buy North American Xbox Live Credit

Actually getting your hands on some Xbox Live Credit for regions other than your own is incredibly easy. The two fastest and easiest ways are to use either Amazon or G2A.com.

Amazon is slightly trickier, but not by very much. You’ll need to have an American street address linked to your Amazon account for it to work, but any credit card or PayPal account will suffice for payment.

When creating your American address, choose a place from one of the states without sales tax. That way you’ll get your credit even cheaper. The four states without a sales tax are Delaware, Montana, Oregon and New Hampshire.

G2A.com is easier and will accept any credit card or PayPal account, regardless of where they are from in the world. In either case, simply search for Xbox Live and you’ll find a range of options.

On Amazon, once you select the Xbox Live Gift Card, you can choose the amount you’d like to purchase in $10 increments. Make sure to check the current exchange rate before you purchase too, just to know how much you’re spending.

Once you make your purchase on Amazon, you’ll be emailed a code to enter into your Xbox One or Xbox.com and the amount of credit you purchased will be added to your account.

Play whatever you want from wherever you want

If you use G2A.com you’ll find a huge range of options. Simply select the North American Xbox Live Gift Card from your search and the amount you’d like. Once you’re taken to the product page, scroll down and you’ll see a list of all the best deals for the same product.

This is where you’ll find your best price. G2A.com will also always show you the cost in your native currency, which is super helpful.

After you’ve added the Xbox Live credit to your account, simply navigate to Turok or Turok 2 on your Xbox One and purchase with the credit on your account.

Then all you need to do is wait patiently while it downloads and then you can relive the glory days of the N64.

This method for how to download Turok on Xbox One in Australia can also be used for any other games and can be used on PS4 as well. When purchasing from a foreign store on PS4, you’ll need to create a new PSN account in that region.

Simply create the account and select that region during the creation process, and include the address you’ve chosen for your Amazon account or select a new one. Then, when you want to purchase from that region’s store, switch to that account and do so.

As both your main account and foreign accounts are set to use your PS4 as their home PS4, any users on that system can use any software downloaded onto it.

Don’t worry, you won’t miss out on trophies.

We hope this guide has been helpful and we hope you can enjoy playing Turok or whatever else you want, that’s not available from Australian stores.
