Lumines Remastered Release Date

Lumines was originally released in 2005 and was a launch title for the PSP in Japan in 2004. Similar to TetrisLumines Remastered sees players clearing a board of blocks.

The hook in Lumines is that everything is tied to the music and the board is only cleared after a certain number of musical measures has passed. And if the blocks have been matches correctly.

Lumines was a key part of the hacking of the PSP with an exploit discovered that allowed users to install custom firmware. This exploit led to an increase in sales of Lumines by 6000% on Amazon.

Lumines Remastered is coming to PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One on June 26, 2018.
