Siegfried announced for Soul Calibur VI

Longtime Soul Calibur character, fan favourite and other half to Nightmare, Siegfried has been announced for Soul Calibur VI. Siegfried in Soul Calibur 6 doesn’t come as a surprise.

He’s appeared in each and every Soul Calibur title and up until Soul Calibur V was the series’ main character and protagonist.

His alter-ego Nightmare has been the series’ antagonist and Siegfried is on a quest to atone for his actions while under the influence of Soul Edge.

The short, one-minute video focuses on Siegfried in combat. It shows him using the Zweihänder and fighting Kilik, Zasalamel , Mitsurugi and Nightmare.

Siegfried’s move set looks similar to how it’s been in the past with long, slow sweeping attacks and heavy rush combos. Siegfried in Souls Calibur 6 appears to be the same deliberate, heavy hitting tank he’s always been.

Along with the trailer, we’ve also got a handful of screenshots showing Siegfriend in Soul Calibur 6.
