Detroit: Become Human’s PS4 Pro enhancements have been detailed

Detroit: Become Human is certain to be one of the best looking PS4 when it’s released. Today we’ve learned about the Detroit Become Human PS4 Pro enhancements, courtesy of Jeux Video.

Lead Engine Programmer Ronan Marchalot spoke about Detroit: Become Human at GDC 2018. He spoke about the standard PS4 version of the game and the Detroit Become Human PS4 Pro enhancements.

The standard PS4 version will render at 1080p and 30fps and will support HDR.

Detroit Become Human PS4 Pro enhancements

The PS4 Pro version will use the checkerboard technique to display at 2160p. It will also use advanced lighting and other techniques to boost the visual quality of the PS4 Pro version.

Marchalot also said that it had focused on visual quality over framerate as Detroit: Become Human isn’t an action title. 

Finally, Marchalot also said that Quantic Dream has worked incredibly hard to try and remove loading screens from the game altogether.
