Hermen Hulst, Managing Director and Co-Founder, Guerrilla said of the success of Horizon;

We had huge ambition for Horizon Zero Dawn and as we approached the launch we knew people were excited, but to see sales of this volume is truly mind blowing.

Since launch, millions of players have joined Aloy on a quest to discover the secrets of the old ones. We hope they enjoy playing Horizon Zero Dawn as much as we enjoyed making it

The free Horizon Zero Dawn content released by Guerrilla Games is an avatar bundle and PS4 theme. The PS4 theme is a slideshow of the best and most-amazing fan-made photos taken in Horizon’s photo mode.

Both the avatar bundle and theme are free to download from the PlayStation Store.

In addition to celebrating the one-year milestone and 7.6 million sales, Guerrilla has released a video giving a behind the scenes look at the creation og the title’s score.

The video explores the creation of the music and even some unique and interesting instruments.

Music supervisor Lucas van Tol explores the creation of the in-game music and instruments for the world of Horizon Zero Dawn in this exclusive behind-the-scenes video.
