Bethesda wants you to take a trip back to Skyrim

The release date for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition is nearly here and the hype train is reaching full speed.

Today, Bethesda release a special launch trailer for the Special Edition which gives fans a short glimpse into the new and improved Skyrim.

The Special Edition includes the critically acclaimed game and add-ons with all-new features like remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections, and more. Skyrim Special Edition also brings the power of mods to the PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Following the availability of mods on console with Fallout 4, Bethesda have rolled the feature out to Skyrim. Being one of the most played and most modded games of all time, it only makes sense.

In addition to the trailer, Bethesda has seen fit to adorn the Melbourne skyline with an image of the Dragonborn.
