Sorry, Baby will be released in Aussie cinemas on 4 September 2025

A24 and VVS films have announced Sorry, Baby will be released in Australia on 4 September 2025. Sorry, Baby made its premiere at Sundance in January and has been selected as the Closing Night Film of the Director’s Fortnight at Cannes later this month.

Written and directed by Eva Victor, who also stars, Sorry, Baby is the story of Agnes, who has a realisation that she is stuck in her life and begins to move forward.

From A24 and VVS, Sorry, Baby’s synopsis reads;

Something bad happened to Agnes. But life goes on… for everyone around her, at least. When a beloved friend visits on the brink of a major milestone, Agnes starts to realize just how stuck she’s been, and begins to work through how to move forward.
