Dead Island 2 showcase airing this week

Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios have announced a special Dead Island 2 showcase coming this week. ‘Another Night in HELL-A’ will stream on Wednesday, 7 December 2022 at 7am AEDT.

This special Dead Island 2 showcase will include new gameplay footage and information about the game via a “captivating live-action film.” Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios are also promising a “thrilling trailer with an extended look at exclusive footage of the game.”

Dead Island 2

Dead Island 2 has had a long road to release. First announced in 2014 at PlayStation’s E3 press conference, the development studio has changed multiple times. Initially, Yager (Spec Ops The Line) was helping the game until they were replaced by Sumo Digital (Sackboy: A Big Adventure) who were in turn replaced by Dambuster Studios (Homefront: The Revolution).

Dead Island 2 will be set in California, specifically, a “a hellish, yet stylish and vibrant, gore-drenched vision of Los Angeles, nicknamed HELL-A.” And here I was thinking they were saying “hella”

To tune into the Dead Island 2 showcase, head to Twitch.tv/DeepSilver from 7am AEDT / 9am NZDT on Wednesday, 7 December 2022.

Dead Island 2 launches for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X on 28 April 2023.
