Ghostwire: Tokyo Has A Sick New Launch Trailer

Ghostwire: Tokyo is almost here and ahead of its release later this month we’ve now got its official launch trailer and it looks stunning. Tango Gameworks revealed the trailer earlier today during PlayStation’s State of Play Livestream, giving us another look at the game’s unique first-person action gameplay and haunted take on the iconic Japanese city.

Ghostwire: Tokyo Launch Trailer

Ghostwire: Tokyo follows the player’s efforts to stop Hannya, a menacing dark arts wielder who has deployed his army of Visitors across Tokyo and thrown the city into chaos. The game immediately had gamer’s attention when it was first announced back in 2019 and is shaping up to be one of the more intriguing releases in an already crowded year of new games. The game’s path to release has been an interesting one, to say the least though.

Initially announced as a PlayStation title by Bethesda Softworks, the iconic house of Western RPGs would go on to be acquired by Microsoft in March of 2021. Fortunately, the initial publishing deal was honoured and the game, which feels right at home on the PlayStation, will be published as planned.

Players can preorder the Deluxe Edition on the PlayStation store for some neat cosmetic items and early access to the game which will open on March 22nd. For everyone else, Ghostwire: Tokyo will be launching on the PlayStation 5 and PC on March 25th.
