World of Warships: Legends second birthday celebrations are in full swing

On July 26, World of Warships: Legends and Wargaming kicked off the console game’s second birthday celebrations. New content in World of Warships: Legends arriving for the part includes “a new campaign, Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- collaboration and a retrospective Bureau project.” In addition, Wargaming has announced that Arms Race and Tier VII ships will be available in Ranked.

After some time in early access, USN alternate ships will leave early access with players now able to research them. These new ships are headlined by Kansas.

Other additions include two new dedicated destroyer commanders for Regia Marina; Luigi Rizzo and Giuseppe Fulgosi. Rizzo gives players a boost to speed while Fulgosi improves the Smoke Generator. The Paolo Emilio is also something for Italian fans to cheer about as this new destroyer can be unlocked with global XP.

World of Warships: Legends

The Summer Anniversary Festival is headlined by the Shock and Awe campaign, focused on the German ZF-6. 100. T. Players will need to complete a number of milestones within five weeks to earn rewards and eventually unlock the ship itself. Unlockable with Admiralty Backing, this German destroyer has faster torpedoes but a reduced range.

Wargaming said of the Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova-;

Arpeggio of Blue Steel -Ars Nova- goods arrive to the store with a selection of items to choose from as a surprise appearance at the Summer Festival. This collaboration brings two new Kongō-based battleships: Haruna and Kirishima, five diverse commanders and more, available through special crates.

Players will also be able to join in the Birthday Bureau project which harkens back to Year II. Featuring past events including Halloween, New Year and Black Friday, players will have the opportunity to earn crates for each of the festivals during each stage of the project. The USN Battleships Nevada, Tennessee and North Carolina are part of the newly available tech tree that has left early access. With the Tier VII Kansas available as the final unlock of this tech tree, players will be racing to get their first.

And speaking of races, the Arms Race mechanic is coming to Ranked alongside Tier VII ships.

The anniversary celebrations are now on and players can grab their free in-game ticket from the store to join in.

World of Warships: Legends is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X.
