Xbox One wins sales for the third month in a row in the US

The Xbox One has managed to outsell the PS4 in the US for a third consecutive month and has also won out in the UK.

According to the NDP the Xbox One topped console sales in the US, while the victory was confirmed by GfK Entertainment in the UK. In a period when the PS4 Slim was released it’s pretty impressive that Microsoft’s system managed to stay on top.

The Xbox One also takes out the gong for only current-gen console to grow year-on-year for September in Australia, the US and the UK. Microsoft can also claim best first-party sales of software too, with Forza Horizon 3 dominating the charts in all three regions as well.

Now that PSVR has launched and we enter the busy holiday period it will be interesting to see how the sales figures unfold.
