Watch us play the first two missions in Star Wars: Squadrons in VR

Regular PowerUp! contributor, Star Wars fan and VR aficionado Adam Mathew has gotten his hands on Star Wars: Squadrons before launch; thanks Amazon. Because he’s such a nice guy, he’s recorded footage of the first two missions from the game played in VR.

On his YouTube video, embedded below, Mathew writes;

Have waited decades for a starfighter sim like this (and in VR no less). Damn good first impressions. Porkins approves.

Developed by Motive and published by EA, Squadrons is the first Star Wars space shooter in a long, long time.

Star Wars Squadrons

Aside from the comments on his YouTube post, Mathew told me he believed Squadrons is a PSVR system seller.

That’s a bold statement for sure. But if anything can move units, it’s Star Wars.

Enjoy the show!

Star Wars: Squadrons launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020.
