Apple Arcade’s Oceanhorn 2 is coming to Switch in 2020

Independant developer Cornfox & Brothers has announced its Zelda-esque RPG Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm will be released on Switch in 2020. Available on Apple Arcade, this 3D, open-world ARPG will make the jump to Nintendo’s platform in Spring/Autumn; Southern and Northern hemispheres respectively.

Heikki Repo, Creative Director said, “Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm is a game made by Nintendo fans, for Nintendo fans.

“We’ve been able to create something new from the strong background that we established with our previous game, Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, and Oceanhorn 2 is our love letter to the games that we grew up with, combining that beloved nostalgia with exciting new mechanics to give it an original spin”

Oceanhorn 2 Switch

Oceanhorn 2 is a prequel to the original game — Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas — and follows a young knight on his journey across Gaia. Along the way he’ll explore a Zelda-esque world, fight enemies and battle against the Dark Army.

With roughly 20-hours of playtime, Oceanhorn 2 has received acclaim on Apple Arcade and will be available for Switch players later this year.
