Wargaming and Games Workshop team up to bring Warhammer 40K to World of Warships

Wargaming and Games Workshop have announced a collaboration that will see World of Warships and Warhammer 40K collide. Coming to both World of Warships and World of Warships Legends, Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K will be part of a new update that adds themed ship skins, commanders, camo and more.

Both the Imperium and Chaos will be included in the collaboration which is the first ever simultaneous event for the PC and console versions of Wargaming’s naval combat title.

The commanders being added to the games are Justinian Lyons XIII and Arthas Roqthar the Cold. You can take a look at some imagery of the ships below.

World of Warships 40K

Philip Molodkovets, Executive Producer for World of Warships said;

We are very excited to collaborate with such an iconic brand that gathers an incredibly passionate audience, some of them coming from our own ranks.

The gothic, grim atmosphere of Warhammer 40,000 provides a sharp edge to the realistic World of Warships universe, which makes this collaboration even more interesting.

Players are able to purchase flags and patches now on PC and those who do will get a special mission to earn Warhammer 40K containers. The full range of content will be available in both games later this month.

World of Warships and World of Warships Legends are available now.
