Bethesda has released a new trailer showcasing Fallout 76’s much-anticipated expansion, Wastelanders. Wastelanders transforms Fallout 76 and makes it much more like a traditional Fallout experience. Where the game launched without NPCs and minimal story, Wastelanders adds a plethora of both.
Survivors and settlers are flooding into Appalachia after hearing a transmission announcing a hidden, buried treasure in the region. The survivors will also include different factions such as Cultists, Bandits, Raiders and more.
Additionally, players will be able to break into Vault 79 and finally get to see what’s inside.
Fallout 76 Wastelanders
Some new locations will be added with Wastelanders, including the settlements of Crater and Foundation. Foundation is located in Savage Divide and is the settlers HQ.
Foundation was previously known as Spruce Knob and was settled by Paige and her crew who had travelled from the Capital Wasteland.
Crater was built-in the ruins of Valiant-1 space station. Funcitoning as the home base of the Raiders who have returned after the Scorched Plague has been taken care of. The Cultists who appear in Wastelanders are the Cult of the Mothman who have been worshipping the mothman since before the great war.
Now, they live in the Lucky Hole mine and the player character will be able to interact with them in Wastelanders.
Wastelanders launches for Fallout 76 on April 14 and is free for all Fallout 76 players.
