4A Games and Deep Silver have announced that the post-apocalyptic, Russian survival shooter duo of Metro Redux is coming to Switch next month. Launching on February 28, 2020, Metro Redux brings Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light to a Nintendo platform for the first time. Metro Redux includes the definitive versions of both games and have been developed in-house at 4A Games.
Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light come together in Metro Redux to deliver tow separate campaigns but deliver one story. Additionally, Metro: Last Light includes all of the DLC which extends the game time by around 10-hours.
On Switch, Metro Redux features two play modes; Survival and Spartan. Survival tunes the games to play more like survival horror while Spartan turns up the action and makes the experience more of a combat title.
Metro Redux Switch
Metro Redux on Switch will be available both digitally and at retail. Those who purchase the physical version will get both games on one 16GB Switch cart with no additional downloads required.
A special Ranger Cache pre-order bonus is available from selected retailers and includes a Metro Redux pin badge set, Game case sleeve, Double-sided alternate artwork inlay, 4 double-sided art cards and an A2 double-sided poster.
Purchasing digitally will require separate downloads of both games.
Metro Redux launches for Switch on February 28, 2020.
