The Ubisoft Experience is happening in two weeks

The Sydney Ubisoft Experience is going to be held in two weeks and is Australia’s leg of the international event also held in Paris and Birmingham. A celebration of all things gaming (and Ubisoft), the Ubisoft Experience is a chance for fans to “play upcoming and classic games, watch elite esports, attend informative panels, participate in competitions, meet development teams from around the world and more.”

Run in conjunction with R U OK? the Ubisoft experience is donating all proceeds to the charity. Tickets are only $19.95 AUD from Ticketek per day, which is a small price to pay for all the entertainment on offer.

Ubisoft Experience

Ubisoft says of the event;

There is a place for everyone in the Ubisoft Community: whether you are an FPS fan or an action adventure player, whether you love to explore the most beautiful ancient cities or fight the system in a modern metropolis, whether you love to watch esports or want to feel the thrill of competing yourself, whether you want to save the world or create real havoc…

Millions of players around the world connect each day and live amazing experiences through our games, making our universes their own.

We have one single reason to be: everything we create is for you, the fans.

The Ubisoft Experience is the place where we all finally meet and celebrate our love of gaming together. Come and join us this year in Birmingham, Sydney and Paris. You will get the chance to discover our new games, meet our teams and developers, learn more about your favourite games, and, most of all, share your passion with the rest of the community.

Players will also be able to get hands-on with Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Roller Champions, Assassin’s Creed VR Experience, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Trials Rising, Brawlhalla, Rayman, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and Beyond Good & Evil.

Rainbow Six Siege will be a big feature at Ubisoft Experience with a special Charity Clash taking place. Mindfreak, Oddity Esports, Team SiNister and FURY Australia will be competing in a best-of-three, single-elimination tournament over the course of the event.

“Mindfreak is incredibly excited to attend the Ubisoft Experience and celebrate all forms of gaming with our fans and the Australian community,” says Albert Nassif, Owner of Mindfreak.

“Our organisation has been a part of the Australian Rainbow Six esports scene since its infancy. It’s a pleasure to celebrate the scene’s legacy and help raise money and awareness for such an important charity.”

Ubisoft has also detailed the panels that will take place at Ubisoft Experience. Panels will be hosted by Stephanie Bendixsen and are;

  • Creating the Perfect Villain:  A deep dive into the antagonists of the Far Cry series
  • Careers in the Gaming Industry: A discussion on the diverse range of careers available in the video game industry
  • Passionate Players Shaping Games: A look at the various ways community members have helped in the creation of Ubisoft games
  • Ghost Recon Breakpoint:  See an all new exclusive mission from the upcoming game narrated live by the Paris studio team

No matter what sort of gamer you are, the Ubisoft Experience has something for everyone. It will take place on September 14 and 15 at
Roundhouse, University of New South Wales, Anzac Parade, Kensington NSW.

I've been playing games for the past 27 years and have been writing for almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. PowerUp! is a labour of love and one I am so excited to share.
