It’s less than two months until Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

It’s nearly time for Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent to return to cinemas and scare the absolute pants off of us. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a sequel to the 2014 film — Maleficent — that gave fans a deeper look at the relationship between Maleficent and Princess Aurora. Set several years after the events of the first film, both Aurora and Maleficent are happy and content.

As described by Disney;

Their relationship, born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished. Yet the hatred between man and the fairies still exists. Aurora’s impending marriage to Prince Phillip is cause for celebration in the kingdom of Ulstead and the neighboring Moors, as the wedding serves to unite the two worlds.

Clearly things are about to go wrong. When have you ever watched a movie when everything just works out right away?

Never? Would never be the answer?

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil

The events of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil see Maleficent and Aurora’s relationship in tatters as the two are on opposite sides of a war between fairies and humans.

Also starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville,
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be in cinemas from October 17, 2019.
