World of Warships Legends reaches over 1 million players in a month

In a little over a month since launch, Wargaming is celebrating one million players in World of Warships Legends.

Kicking off early access on April 16, World of Warships Legends developer Wargaming Saint Petersburg announced the milestone as well as some brand-new content coming to the free-to-play title.

The all-new Atlanta Campaign, Free Pack and Starter Packs will be included in the game and keep players busy for the forseeable future.

World of Warships Legends

The Atlanta Campaign gives players a huge number of tasks and missions as well as the opportunity to promote commanders. Three insignia are being introduced to allow promotion of commanders while players will be able to collect resources to contribute to the overall game progress.

These include boosters, camouflage and premium time. Players can collect these by completing campaign trials to unlock milestones.

The Atlanta Campaign will be available from May 20, 2019.

In addition to the all-new Atlanta campaign, World of Warships Legends will introduce a Free Pack and two Starter Packs. The new bundles include plenty of stuff to help players on their way to victory.

The packs include items such as American battleship Texas, British destroyer Campbeltown, and hero commander Willis Lee. For those who don’t mind paying, there’s plenty of Premium content coming to the game. Players will be able to purchase the British battleship HMS Warspite, American battleship Arizona, and the Japanese destroyer Kamikaze.

In our review, we wrote of World of Warships Legends;

World of Warships Legends is as polished and rewarding as you’d expect from Wargaming.

You’re getting an excellent maritime combat simulator, a free history lesson and a look at some of the most impressive feats of engineering from the 20th century. How could you go wrong?

World of Warships Legends is available now on PS4 and Xbox One.
