Rocket Arena is a 3v3 cross-platform FPS, now in closed beta

Nexon America has teamed up with Final Strike Games to create Rocket Arena. This brand-new 3v3 FPS is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One and will be fully cross-platform compatible.

A closed beta began on May 23 and will continue until May 29, though if you’ve not signed up you will likely have missed your shot this time.

The beta period features six of the game’s maps, four game modes and six characters.

Rocket Arena

Set in the Rocket Championship Tour, Rocket Arena pits teams of three against each other, armed only with rockets. Players also need to keep an eye on their Blast Meter. As they’re hit with rockets, the Blast Meter fills and if it is filled all the way, the next rocket may knock them off the map.

According to the developers and publisher, Rocket Arena will include dedicated matchmaking that will account for skill and latency.

Kevin Franklin, Founder/CEO of Final Strike Games said;

We developed Rocket Arena with high-quality gameplay mechanics, superb controls, and the network code required of an online FPS. Rocket Arena is an intricate shooter at its core, complete with a marvellous world, colourful characters, and ridiculous rockets

At launch, the PC and Xbox One versions will be available and will feature cross-platform play. The PS4 version will be released at a later date.
