Meet Oninaki’s hero Kagachi in this trailer from Tokyo RPG Factory

Square Enix and Tokyo RPG Factory have started releasing additional details about the upcoming Oninaki. In development at Tokyo RPG Factory — Lost Sphear, I Am SetsunaOninaki is an action-RPG starring Kagachi.

As a Watcher, Kagachi “embodies the tenets of reincarnation, and whose sacred duty is to usher Lost Souls into the next world.”

Kagachi’s adventure begins when he meets Linne. Linne has no memory of her past (classic JRPG trope) and is a mysterious figure in the world.

Along the way, Kagachi and Linne meet Kushi, Mayura and Night Devil.

Tokyo RPG Factory

Kushi is a veteran Watcher and respected leader and Mayura is another Watcher who is kind and caring.

Night Devil, on the other hand, is a swordsman from a different time who is tracking Linne down. You can see the first reveal of these characters in the video below.

Oninaki is coming to PC, PS4 and Switch in 2019.
