Here are some brand-new Borderlands 3 screenshots taken directly from gameplay

At the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal event, I went hands-on with the game. Thanks to the fine people at Gearbox and 2K, I was also able to keep a copy of my captured gameplay and capture some Borderlands 3 screenshots.

In order to share with you and show you exactly how it looks while being played, I’ve gone and taken a number of Borderlands 3 screenshots. These have all been taken directly from Borderlands 3 gameplay and have not been altered in any way.

In the gallery below, you’ll see screenshots taken on Promethea. The areas you’ll see are Meridian Outskirts, Spillways and Meridian Metroplex.

As you can see, Promethea is a very different planet to Pandora, but still looks undoubtedly like it belongs in the Borderlands universe.

During my hands-on, I was only able to explore part of Promethea and didn’t get to check out Sanctuary III, Pandora or any of the other as yet unannounced planets.

These Borderlands 3 screenshots show you the fidelity and quality of the visuals in Borderlands 3. They also give you a sense of the scale of the game. It certainly feels a lot bigger, simply because we’re able to explore places that aren’t Pandora.

Obviously, Pandora is an important place in Borderlands 3 and players will spend time there. The focus of this event though was on Promethea.

Borderlands 3 will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 13.

Leo Stevenson attended the Borderlands 3 gameplay event in Los Angeles, California as a guest of 2K. Flights, accommodation and meals were provided by 2K.
