The Division 2 – How to Get Hyenas Keys and Outcasts Keys

In The Division 2, you’ll come across small, locked boxes. To open these boxes you’ll need a key. Some boxes require a Hyenas Key and others require an Outcasts Key.

Early in the game when you come across these locked boxes, you’ll be wondering how you’re supposed to open them. Do Hyenas and Outcasts enemies drop keys? Can they be found in loot?

After you’ve asked yourself these questions a few times, you’ll start to wonder just where on earth you do find these keys. Don’t panic, we’re here to help.

The Division 2 Hyenas Keys & Outcasts Keys

Finding these Division 2 Hyenas Keys is actually much easier than it seems at first. All you need to do is head into the Underground and look for small boxes on the walls. These are key safes and they look a little like a fuse box.

When you loot these key boxes you’ll be given one of either a Hyenas Key or an Outcasts Key.

As far as we can tell at this stage, this is the only way to acquire these keys. There have been reports of players finding key safes inside buildings and other locations, however, we’ve only found them in the Underground sections thus far.

Additionally, in each Underground section, we have found two or three key safes. Check out the gallery above for a visual example of the locked boxes and the key safes.

The Division 2 will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 15, 2019.
