Warhammer Chaosbane, the Diablo-esque RPG from Bigben, Eko Software and Games Workshop now has a release date. On top of that, players are now able to pre-order the title and will have the chance to participate in two betas prior to launch. 

Beginning in March, the betas will be available for players who’ve pre-ordered the title. These beta period will give those who’ve pre-ordered a chance to experience the opening of the campaign and to play in co-op mode with other players. 

Available in four editions — three digital, one physical — Warhammer Chaosbane brings the world of Warhammer to gamers like never before.

Warhammer Chaosbane Release Date

According to Bigben and Eko Software, the plot is as follows;

Long before the reign of our glorious Karl Franz, the bloodthirsty tribes of the North united and invaded the Empire of Man.

The Great War Against Chaos raged on, up until Magnus the Pious rallied the citizens of Nuln, resisted the enemy and defeated the Chaos leader, known as ‘The Everchosen’, scattering the invaders in the process.

But the forces of Chaos have crawled back from the shadows to strike at the Empire. Unless something is done, the Empire of Man will again descend into darkness and turmoil.

Warhammer Chaosbane gives players four classes to choose from and allows co-op play both locally and online. Strategy and synergy are key in Warhammer Chaosbane with characters’ abilities working together in special and unique ways.

Warhammer Chaosbane launches on June 4 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Magnus Edition owners gain access from May 31.
