Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered coming in March, later on Switch

Ubisoft is bringing more of the Assassin’s Creed back catalogue out for another spin around the block. This time it’s the American duo of Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered.

Announced as part of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass, AC 3 Remastered and Liberation Remastered will be released, stand-alone on PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One. While the PC, PS4 and Xbox One releases will come in late March, the Switch versions won’t be available until May. 

Pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered are now open, but only for the physical version. There’s no option to pre-order the digital version.

ACIII Remastered

First released in 2012, the remastered edition of Assassin’s Creed 3 sees 4K and HDR on PS4 Pro, PC and Xbox One X in addition to improved textures, new visuals and more. 

Bundled with the re-release are;

  • Benedict Arnold Mission
  • Hidden Secrets Mission
  • Tyranny of King Washington DLC
  • Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered

AC3 Remastered is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 29 for $59.99 AUD. The Switch release is set for May 2019.
