Meet the Warhammer Chaosbane Mage; Elontir

Warhammer Chaosbane, the Diablo-like action RPG based on Games Workshop’s tabletop fantasy game is coming in 2019. To introduce players to the world, lore and characters, Bigben and Eko Software has released a video looking at one of the four Warhammer Chaosbane charactersElontir the Mage.

A High Elf Mage, Elontir is a veteran of many wars and has “already fought the forces of Chaos at Praag, then during the siege of Kislev” Elontir is a respected and venerated hero who uses his magic to attack from range and keep attackers away.

In Warhammer Chaosbane, Elontir uses his mastery of the Winds of Magic to cast multiple spells and control enemies by sending them towards his allies.

Warhammer Chaosbane Mage Elontir

Warhammer Chaosbane Mage Elontir worships the Elven God Hoeth. As the God of knowledge and learning, Hoeth gives the Mage Elontir a unique spell tree which grants access to a range of spells.

Elontir, like the other heroes of Warhammer Chaosbane, has a unique ability. Elontir is able to control the area of effect for his spells. Eko Software’s example is;

Elontir can, for example, slow down time on the enemy’s path to help his allies decimate the Chaos hordes. This effect can also be used to accurately push a group of enemies towards his allies who specialise in close combat, in perfect complementary cooperation.

Each of the four characters in Warhammer Chaosbane can unleash Bloodlust by destroying the Chaos hordes.  Once the Bloodlust meter is filled players can unleash Bloodlust and gain access to more powerful attacks and special abilities.

Warhammer Chaosbane is set in the Old World and sees human, high elf, wood elf and dwarf do battle against the agents of Chaos.

Warhammer Chaosbane will be released in 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

You can find out about Konrad Vollen, Warhammer Chaosbane’s warrior here.
